Helping Phase 2: Production Expense Donations (Discussion)

Another donation coming your way, guys. This is my second straight month donating and I hope I'll continue to be able to give a small amount on a monthly basis. It's not much, but I'll do what I can. I'd rather give the money to you guys to help make some real quality programming than wasting it at a movie theater watching the trash Hollywood has been pumping out!

  Jimmy, small regular donations work well for Retro Film Studios, too! The team really wants affordable monthly donations. It gives us a steady amount to rely upon when planning studio projects and expenses. Regular 10 - 20 or 50 dollar donations are often better and easier financially for our fans as well.

  We do NOT want anyone to over extend to help us with donations.

Now if only a few more of the forum's 2,000 regular members will chip in a dollar or 5... or 20... or whatever they can afford. The burden has been lightened by the help of a few regular donors, but I am hoping more jump in to help. But sadly, most people dont care. They just sit and wait for episodes or pretend they dont see the "Helping" threads. I posted the Enemy Starfleet revised release date post the same time as the October Donations post. 5 times as many people have read the ES post - and totally ignored (not even read) the donations post.

That is entirely fine with me. If they cannot afford to (or dont want to) send even a dollar or two out via each donation button, that's fine. So... what's my point then? My point is THANK YOU VERY MUCH for those of you who DO stop in the donations threads and DO send in a bit to help us... whether it's a dollar or a hundred... it helps! And it IS appreciated by the entire production team!!!

We have a VERY VERY ambitious episode planned for June (sorry folks, cant give out any more info than that right now), and it will be up to the fans whether we make it or not. Though it's a story I think virtually all the fans would be clamoring for, we can't afford this one on our own.

I just dicovered some money sitting in my paypal account thats now on its way to RFS.

The one thing I don't like that they've done with Paypal is that now they don't tell you how much money your sending in both Pounds and Dollars so you have to do the Math yourself a bit of a pain in the rear so for those in the UK that are interested a $20 donation at the current exchange rate is £12.92
