I give you... The U.S.S. Copernicus NCC-1893

I really enjoyed bringing this ship to physical form.

Beautiful! The extra effort in the display stand really finishes it off, and that's the perfect angle to show it.
Fantastic work and a fitting tribute to a lovely design. I think I prefer this to the USS Reliant.

Congrats on getting her finished.  She's truly a thing of beauty, a model to be proud of.  I really love that display stand, it's the perfect way to display that beauty.  :)

Nice job on all the detailing work.  Even at that size it looks like a studio model.  :)

Well, This model has seen it days in the model contest circuit. It has won at every contest its been in, and I'm purdy proud of that. Now that the 1/350 kit is comming soon - of which I have 2 copies pre-ordered via the 1701 club, I'm all ready in the pre-planning stages to build this starship class again.

I'm thinking on selling this one on ebay under the catagory of "study model" -  which is exactly what it was in preparation for the 1/350 project.

However, I am thinking of naming the larger, fully lit model:  U.S.S. Hawking, NCC-1897, or maybe, U.S.S. Galileo, NCC-1890.

My 1/350 TOS Enterprise kits have arrived. I'll be getting everything down on paper in hand drafted form to size up components and scratch-building parts. Once the lighting kit is available, I'll be ordering that as well. This next project will be fully lit!

Bussard domes, nav lights, and windows, oh my!

Can't wait to start,

Tracy
