Wow things have changed a bit since I've been away.

Someone else is playing Kirk and a refited Enterprise? What happened? I thought after the 2009 film the decision was that they wouldn't use the refit Phase 2 Enterprise. Not that I'm complaining cause it's a great ship design.

James' Elvis impersonation career has prevented him from playing the role of Kirk any longer.  As for the ship, they wanted to go with it sooner but, due to the 2009 film, they decided to keep the original a little longer.  However, it's been 3 years and it's time to move on to the P2 design.  At least, that's what I took away from what they told us.  ;)
