KITUMBA, and other stuff...
« on: February 15, 2013, 08:46:57 am »
As most of you are aware, we had major problms recovering the footage and timeline form Kitumba. After a rather long and drawn out situation, I have finally been able to get the hard drive in question and move forward with the Edit.  The current plan is to release the episode this Spring! The Teaser and Act One are complete and we are moving to finish Act two at this time.
Also I know that this forum has been quiet and also had technical issues lately and all that is going to change. Look for regular updates and improvements to out forum and site soon!
Best,
James

That's fantastic news, James.  I can't wait to see Kitumba and also see what else you and the P2 team have in store for the future.  ;D

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I wasn't aware that there was a problem with Kitumba.  Is this covered in one of the forum threads?

Kitumba updates make up for any and all quietness.

Thanks for the update and thanks for finishing this episode. Not only is it a story I have wanted to see for years, because of it's iconic status in that "other" Phase II, it ends up being an episode that further cements this Phase II on the map.

Excellent news. I hope P2 never has to go through a difficulty like that again.

Being one of the few people who have seen the original version of Kitumba (we showed it at the German FedCon convention), let me say that Kitumba is an excellent episode of epic proportions.

I know a lot has been changed since then and from what I have heard, it is now even better. You guys have got a lot to look forward to when this comes out.

Regards

Peter

It's covered in several threads over several years.....beginning with a hard drive crashing as it was being backed up and potentially destroying half the footage of the episode. There has been one technical difficulty after another since..
