1 case (12 rolls) dispenser paper towels (roll type)
55 gal trash bags (preferably the contractor type as they're stronger)

I won't be sending them out until next week - but cross these off your list.

Question ... do you want these sent to James or to you?  Unless you've moved, I already have your mailing address.

Regards,
J. Alec West

Please send it to James. I won't be there but for a few days mid-shoot. Thanks for the help as always!

Hey Linda, I'll pick up a can of decaf when I arrive in Ti.

I drink it, too. My doc scowls menacingly if I quaff too much of the regular stuff....

Rick C.

Thank you!

List update:

1 case (12 rolls) dispenser paper towels (roll type)
6 large cans regular coffee (that should be a good start)
1 small can decaf coffee (as far as I know only one person drinks it)
small box of tea bags
55 gal trash bags (preferably the contractor type as they're stronger)
Sweet n Low
toilet paper - quite a few rolls
regular Paper Towels for cleaning purposes

We will also be needing cases of water for cast/G&E and Gatorade for G&E

OK, here's what's coming to James from General Jan:

48 rolls of Marcal Sunrise 2-ply toilet paper (individually wrapped)
1 case (12 rolls) 350-foot, 8" paper towels for dispensers
1 case (50) 55-gal. garbage bags, contractor-strength

And here's what's coming to James from Amazon Marketplace sellers:

6 cans (33oz. each) Chase & Sanborn Special Roast (regular coffee)
96 bottles (16.9oz. each) bottled water (brand selected by seller)
96 bottles (20oz. each) Gatorade Frost Variety Pack (different flavors)

The water should keep G&E people cool for a couple of days (grin).  The Gatorade will keep their electrolytes in balance for the same timeframe.  And the coffee will keep them "wound up" for work.  Jittery, yet cool & alert, hehe.

Anyhoo, that stretches my budget to its max for this shoot.  A couple of interesting notes.  First, General Jan is closed today and tomorrow for Shavuot - a Jewish holiday.  But they said all orders made today or tomorrow will be shipped Friday.  Shipping is free, too.  Secondly, guess how much I spent on New York sales tax today.  ZERO!  General Jan only charges sales tax on orders shipped within New Jersey (unlike ULine) and the Amazon Marketplace sellers were all out of state - and, unlike "fulfilled by Amazon" type orders, didn't charge New York sales tax either (grin).

Well, OK, I lied (grin).  I had a bit more money and sent these to James, too:

15 rolls Scott paper towels (kitchen size)
120 packets Sweet-n-Low
100 bags Lipton Natural Tea

I think that pretty much covers Linda's "needs" list.

P.S.  Didn't pay New York sales tax on those items either (grin).

OK folks..........between here and FB we've got everything donated. Thanks so much.
There may be water and gatorade needs but they can be dealt with on an as needed basis.

Yup.  Only meant as a starting supply.  Normally, water and Gatorade are cheaper if bought locally (ie., Walmart).  But the prices I got seemed pretty fair for mail-order ... especially the water.  Water was less than half what I paid the last time I ordered it.  But, I think I discovered the sneaky reason why.  See the photo below:

These 6 brands use the same size (16.9 oz.) and style of bottles for a reason - they're all subsidiaries of Nestle Corp., with each brand bottled and marketed in a specific region.  Obviously, sellers must have a "drop-ship" arrangement with Nestle.  Orders submitted to sellers are forwarded to Nestle - which chooses the subsidiary brand that bottles water closest to the recipient.  That's why the order screen says that "brand name" will be determined by the seller.  Smart marketing (grin).

In any case, it's probably a good idea for people coming to the shoot to bring a few extra dollars to drop in the "money jar" for craft services.  Wish I could be there (sigh).  But, I do have a certificate of deposit maturing in March 2014 (grin) that should cover a trip next summer.

P.S.  BTW, the Gatorade has already shipped.  And at the "outside," the last of all these items should arrive no later than Wednesday the 29th.
