No, seriously, in fact I completelly forgot that Vulcan was a Roman god, so I don't see why they wouldn't name it Vulcan,
In ancient Roman religion and myth, Vulcan (Latin: Vulcanus) is the god of fire including the fire of volcanoes. Vulcan is often depicted with a blacksmith's hammer read the whole definition.
I would understand they would not name it Q'onos, but Vulcan is a legitimate name if they only name planets and asteroids as Roman and Greek gods. Perhaps that will change when they start naming planets from a different system (I don't know if they have already started to do so, I'm going to check it).
