Can't speak for anyone but myself but I was there for the first week of shooting as a noob volunteer. It was great! Lots of set building. Huge corridor set. From what I was told it was the biggest corridor set they had done to date. I know flats were being constructed as we went. I took a couple hundred pics but cant post any w/o permission (but i'm enjoying them!)! I got to see a couple days of shooting and everything seemed to be progressing well. The cast was extrodinary through the long hours, the set and lighting team were great too! What most impressed me was the level of detail that James and team put into everything they do related to keeping this authentic. "The corridor is exactly xxx wide!" "Well, it's off by 2 inches, it's good." "Nope. FIX IT!"  ;)

Almost four weeks ago some members from the production team claimed on facebook that an announcement regarding their next release would happen in the very near future. I believe everyones patiently waiting for this news hence the quiteness.

I've been busy making Star Trek lately, so I haven't spent as much time as I usually do on the forums.  On a good note, my film is really progressing!

I try to stay active on the forums, but like anything, nobody wants to post first.   So, anyhow, I'm here on at least a weekly basis lately, but catching up is pretty easy to do.

Luckily a complete stranger mentioned on TrekBBS that the first bit of Kitumba was available to view on youtube. That was months ago and I don't think that has been announced on this forum yet.

I don't go to facebook, I only check for your news here on this forum. Eventually that stops if its clear we are just wasting our time.

Kitumba was announced here, I followed the link. I watched it and can't wait for the rest of it. Back in the day when we had a more active Klingon fandom in my area, we would have held a party just to watch that little clip.

As many of you know, there have been tech problems here for a long while now. A more permanent solution is being discussed as well as correcting a few existing issues. Once progress is made we will keep all the fans, everywhere, up-to-date.

I still check in here every day, looking for new members and any issues.

You can still send me a PM via this forum if you wish to do so.

Gary
Co-executive Producer.

yes, I often get connected as some other user. This is due to the proxy used to avoid DOS attacks. See my earlier post of 6 August. The issues are being discussed, seeking resolutions.

Gary

"It's complicated."

Tweets, MySpace, Bebo relaunching, Google+, Tumblr, forums, blog pages (like trekmovie.com), other social networks, oh the networking lists go on and on and so on. Like them and don't like at the same time personally. "It's complicated."
