Has anyone here ever seen this oddball sci fi film by famed filmmaker John Carpenter before? It's a real how would you call it,space oddity.

I have seen it and I really enjoyed it. It was weird enough to be enjoyable especially after some wacky weed  :hyst:

I also recall that this served as the inspiration for Red Dwarf.

Back when Enterprise first came out and people complained about the theme song "You can't use a COUNTRY song!!!" (which works well for me) I remember thinking "What about Dark Star"???
