Malkthon's Battlecruiser
« on: December 31, 2013, 12:11:36 am »
Hi James,
Can you answer some questions for me please.
1) What is the Class name of Malkthon's ship (Is it a D8, D9, D38 or some such, or is it a very heavily modified D7)?
2) What are its dimensions? (Length, Width , Ht)
3) What are its offensive and defensive capabilities (ie how many disruptors and torpedo launchers does it have including their fire arcs)?
4) Year commissioned (if possible)?
5) How many Decks?
6) Crew Complement?
7) What is the Name of Malkthon's ship?

The reason for the questions is that I would like to stat up this ship using http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek_Roleplaying_Game_(Decipher)
as well as using Tobias's wonderful pic in the stat write up (if I may). Also ( if given permission) I would like to share the write up with other Star Trek Roleplaying Game groups such as:
http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/StarTrekCoda/
http://forum.trek-rpg.net/
http://strpg.patrickgoodman.org/#Errata
http://startrekrpgdecipher.kccomputing.net/

Thank you for a very wonderful production hope to see more P2 in 2014.
Happy New Year to you and yours  :)

You might want to contact Andrew Probert...he designed it.

Andy Probert designed the small reconaissance vessel. Malkthons ship was a Kitbash that I did of the existing ships.Quite honestly, I can not answer your questions - I just made it to look cool and somehow more mean and sturdy then the D7s. The dimensions and decks should be around the same as a D7 with same crew number, just a few additional guns.

oops! Sorry Tobias! There are so many cool new ships and, well, so many old ships I kinda got overwhelmed. Your work is awesome!

Hey guys, on my website, A Base For Existence, I statted up those ships, and talked with Andrew Probert about the fighter one, I slapped on a pair of Monitor Engines, which gave it power.

They did good, to give some diverse fleets for the 23rd Century, which I felt was sorely needed.
